David C. Calusdian Executive Vice President and Partner

David C. Calusdian is an Executive Vice President and a Partner. He oversees the implementation of investor relations programs, coaches senior executives in presentation skills and provides strategic counsel to clients on numerous communications issues such as corporate disclosure, proxy proposals, shareholder activism and earnings guidance. David’s clients are focused in the industrial, life sciences and technology sectors.

Recent engagement and representation highlights include:

• Crisis communications plan for technology company sued by its founder.
• IPO roadshow presentation and management training.

Prior to joining Sharon Merrill in 1995, David served as an account executive for the communications firm Jack Walsh & Associates. He also taught investor relations, public relations and public speaking at Emerson College, where he received both a B.A. and an M.A. degree in communications. A former board member and president of the National Investor Relations Institute’s Boston chapter, David is a current member of NIRI’s National Conference Committee, and is a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences sponsored by organizations including NIRI, NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange and the Public Relations Society of America. He is frequently quoted on IR and communications topics by national newspapers and magazines.
