Sharon Merrill Associates, Inc. (www.InvestorRelations.com), a nationally recognized investor relations firm, is seeking an energetic Associate to help implement investor relations and corporate communications programs on behalf of its clients. The Associate also will serve as our Director of First Impressions. Our business is expanding, and we are looking for aggressive, passionate, ethical and articulate candidates to help us grow.

Associate’s responsibilities will include:
• Conducting financial and market intelligence
• Building and maintaining investor databases
• Producing shareholder analysis reports
• Coordinating distribution of client news releases
• Assisting in coordinating meetings with investors
• Answering telephone calls from clients and the investment community
• Serving as the initial greeter in the office for visiting VIPs
• Light administrative duties

The right Associate will have:
• High energy, a drive to succeed and an ambition for investor relations as a career choice
• A constant desire to go above and beyond day-to-day responsibilities to demonstrate commitment and initiative
• One to three years of experience in investor relations or a related field, such as finance, public relations or corporate communications
• An ability to multi-task and work effectively under multiple deadlines
• An attention to detail and a passion for learning
• Polished phone skills and a professional manner
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong writing ability
• Polish, presence, confidence and requisite maturity necessary for the anticipated growth of responsibilities
• A Bachelor’s degree

Agency experience is a definite plus, and an ability to excel in a team-oriented environment and a sense of humor is a must.
